Dark Arts practice
Nov. 26th, 2007 05:56 pmI think this is the worst day of classes I've ever had to sit through. Seeing Neville, Luna, and Ginny paraded through Dark Arts class in the condition they're in is by far the worst thing I have ever had to endure so far this year, and that includes all of Muggle Carrow's screeching.
It's nice to know that almost all the class failed to cast both the Cruciatus and Imperius curses successfully, but it's not good news that those who do manage it competently are the cruelest Slytherins that I absolutely hate. Ugh. (I guess it's not good news either that Draco makes both those spells look easy.)
Alison and I also failed at both the curses today, and I have to say that's the first time I've not been able to cast a spell and been thankful for it. Carrow says that we have until tomorrow to do it well or he'll drop us down a mark. I wonder if it's possible to cast a spell while speaking the incantation of another, because that's the only solution I can think of to keep my marks up while not hurting my friends.
