I just ran into Ginny on the Quidditch Pitch. She passed me a note saying that she, Neville, and maybe one or two other members of the DA are going to try to sneak into Snape's office and steal the sword of Gryffindor. She said she wants me to know as more of a backup than anything - if anything happens to them, at least someone will know what happened.

It doesn't sit right with me to just let them go in blind - not when we essentially have the headmaster's office bugged and we can tell when he's usually there or not. I think we should offer to help if we can. What do you think? I'm good at playing lookout.

Is there anybody that Gryffindors ever listen to besides themselves? Seriously. And think we Slytherins are self-absorbed. I really hope they've thought this through more than it seems they have.

If Potter's really gone, I hope he has the sense to stay hidden. If anybody--anybody at all--knows his whereabouts he is in serious danger. Worst of all, I can't help but think this may be an elaborate trap set up by You-Know-Who and Professor Snape and they're falling right into it.

I've got a bad feeling about this.

I think I trust Ginny to have the most sense of those three. Mostly because I've seen how Neville's been acting recently, and if he hasn't already, he's going to end up on the wrong side of a Carrow's wand sooner or later.

Oh dear, it's true...what if Potter has been caught? Why would You-Know-Who bother covering it up, though? It's the only thing that's keeping the Order going. I would think that if I were You-Know-Who, I'd trot him out the moment I got a hold of him, just to take the life out of those who are opposing me. He better still be out there, somewhere. Hermione knows better than to get caught this early, I hope.
