[LOG] Shopping at Oxford Street
Aug. 5th, 2007 08:44 pmWho: Alison Mallory and Ora Yang
Where: Oxford Street, Muggle London
When: a few days before wedding of Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour
What: shopping for dresses
Ora stood on her tiptoes, trying to peer over the heads of the crowds at Oxford Circus station to spot her friend, Alison. They hadn't seen each other at all over the summer, not since they'd gotten off the Hogwarts Express at King's Cross Station and been whisked away by their parents. Ora had just gotten home to London yesterday after an extended summer holiday with her mother in China, and already she could tell that her father was worried over the state of Wizarding Britain. Late last night she'd even heard her parents debating whether they'd let her even attend her last year at Hogwarts.
Nevertheless, Ora remained optimistic--she'd already promised Alison they'd go together to Fleur Delacour and Bill Weasley's wedding at the Burrow, and there was nothing to take her mind off Draco Malfoy, the spreading influence of You-Know-Who and his Death Eaters, and her parent's concern, like a full day of shopping. Clothes shopping, no less.
Spotting a short blonde head fighting her way through the crowds, Ora jumped up and started waving.
"Alison! Alison! Over here!"
