Hey everyone,

Skuld here, sitting at a computer in a Swiss chalet my brother-in-law's family owns, where I can see the Matterhorn from out of my window. This is seriously sweet, and yet I still have to take time out of my day to sit on the internets because I'm just that dependent on the webz. Oh, I love my nerdiness.

Anyhoos, this is just a heads up to let you know that Hogwarts formally begins on September 1st but since

beater_serpens is out of town at DragonCon, we'll actually be opening the posts on September 4th. We will all be meeting up on Platform Nine-and-Three-Quarters to board the Hogwarts Express. As usual every year, we will all squeeze into the same compartment, and talk about our hopes and worries for our last year of schooling.

(Ali-chan and I have some plans for what's going to follow later in the year, but we'll organize and talk about that later.)

On the September 1st Daily Prophet (or possibly the day before) the article announcing Snape as the new Headmaster and the Carrows as DADA and Muggle Studies professors is published.
