Caught!

I knew it, I knew it.

It's no use saying 'I told you so' because I think Neville, Luna, and Ginny just got caught stealing the Sword of Gryffindor from Snape's office. Professor Slughorn just informed us a few moments ago and now everybody in Slytherin is talking about it, and so must the rest of the school.

The plan started off so well. Alison and Ginny managed to stow three brooms in a closet on the fifth floor, and Snape was out of his office for the duration of the operation. Alison and I graffiti'd a wall on the second floor next to some classrooms, but something went wrong. I'm not sure what it is, but there was a lot of ruckus kicked up when some of the students found the graffiti, and even though we had all the Carrows, Filch, and Professor Snape in one place, somehow I think they got caught. Snape must have called a meeting in his office or something and caught them along the way.

I hope the Carrows aren't going to kill them. They're all purebloods so they might be tortured, but nothing worse is going to happen...right?

And this sounds terribly selfish right now, but they might let our names slip during the torture process if they haven't already. So everybody be careful. I don't even think my status as an Ambassador's daughter is going to protect me this time, if our names are dropped.

Ugh... wasn't there something about the best-laid plans always going to hell? I don't think there's any way they can be killed, but the Carrows had better not have an "accident" while "torturing" them. Though I think Professor Snape knows better than to let that happen. Maybe.

I hope they know better than to let our names slip. Or that the Carrows don't resort to veritaserum.

What would we tell any of their parents if the Carrows had an "accident?" It had better not come to that! With all their teaching of Muggle barbarism and Wizard superiority, it sure seems they aren't doing what they preach. Surely they wouldn't resort to murder, at least all three of them have verified pureblood backgrounds.

I hope they talk early enough that the Carrows haven't resorted to veritaserum. It seems like such a selfish thing to say, but you're on thin ice as it is, being half-Muggle. I do hope amongst the three of them, they can come up with at least one person's worth of common sense.

Yeah - I'd hope Professor Snape knows enough to keep his minions (or whatever they are) in line. I don't think they'd resort to murder, either, but there's a lot people can live through...

I agree - I don't know what I'd do if they outed me. I mean... everything that's going on here is wrong, but I don't want to get put in Azkaban over trying to make it right! At least Gryffindors are loyal too, right? Here's hoping they don't let us down.

I would say, knowing the Carrows, living through it might be worse.

I'm going to believe that Gryffindors are loyal and that they'd never confess our names to the crime. Here's to hoping!
